City
of Lawrenceburg Youth Grant Program
Serving all Youth within Dearborn County
Grants will be made to not-for-profit organizations for programs
that directly benefit youth between the ages of 0 and 18. Select
programs/teams, those that allow participation of a few children
when other organizations are available to offer the same
recreational opportunities, are not eligible to apply. Half of
the total funding available is allocated to benefit youth
programs where 75% of the youth reside in the Lawrenceburg
school corporation area and the other half is allocated for
youth programs that benefit youth where 90% of the youth reside
in Dearborn County. Applicants must provide the percentage of
youth that reside in Lawrenceburg and the percentage of youth
that reside in Dearborn County for their program participants.
Maximum grant awards are $10,000 per organization per calendar
year.
An advisory committee made up of representatives
of community organizations advises the DCF on
preferences among grant applicants.
The Lawrenceburg Youth Grant Program does not
provide grant funding for salaries, employee benefits,
prizes, trophies and/or ribbons.
