Partners in Education Scholarship Program

The Lawrenceburg Schools Endowment Corporation, in partnership with Dearborn Savings Association and United Community Bank, will award 10 achievement scholarships to graduating seniors of Lawrenceburg High School who will enroll in an institution of higher learning no later than the fall of the year the scholarship is granted.
 
Amount of Scholarship: $1,000 each
 

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Must be Lawrenceburg High School senior with a good record of attendance and responsible behavior;
  2. Must have a financial need and the ability to demonstrate that courses of study throughout high school were relevant in relation to career goals;
  3. Must be a well-rounded student showing participation in leadership, community service/organizations and athletic activities, making note of any honors and/or awards; and
  4. Must be planning to attend college in the fall of 2008 as a full-time student pursuing a two-year or four-year degree at an accredited institution.
 

Evaluation Process:

  1. Submit your completed application to the Dearborn Community Foundation, Inc. office no later than 4:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2008;

  2. Completed application must contain an essay addressing the appropriate question(s);
  3. Application will be reviewed for eligibility, completeness, and professionalism; and
  4. Applications will be submitted to the Lawrenceburg Schools Endowment Corporation for scoring and selection recommendations.
